Because music is deeply connected to human emotions, often songs or sounds can serve as strong reminders of an experience, particular time in one's personal history. Designed as an ongoing performance piece, the sounds found here are "tiny" compositions that capture an experience or act as a reminder of a place. They are usually brief, improvised compositions created with whatever instrument(s) are available and inspired by the surrounding environment. Often saved as iPhone recordings or some other lo-fi means of recording, this unpredictable nature of each situation creates a unique challenge to compose spontaneously.
